“One day, when my youngest daughter was nine months old, I was holding her, and out of the ‘clear blue’ I began singing a song to her which was original. I felt impressed to work with the song that day. It turned out to be ‘A Mothers Lullaby’. I entered it in the ‘American Mothers Cultural Arts’ music composition contest, and it won 2nd place for the state of Utah! What this did more than anything else was to help me realize that other people really liked my original compositions.”
